Frequently asked questions
Yes. Prenatal and infant chiropractic care is safe when provided by a trained, experienced chiropractor using gentle, age-appropriate techniques.
Dr. Alex is Webster Technique certified through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), a leading organization in prenatal and pediatric chiropractic education. The Webster Technique is specifically designed to support pelvic balance, comfort, and nervous system regulation during pregnancy using gentle, pregnancy-safe methods.
For babies, infant chiropractic care looks very different than adult care. The amount of pressure used is about the same as it takes to place a contact lens on the eye—extremely light, precise, and gentle. In fact, it is often less invasive than a typical pediatric well-check, where joints, hips, mouth, and reflexes are routinely assessed.
Both prenatal and infant chiropractic care are designed to be calm, supportive, and respectful of the body’s natural design—focused on comfort, regulation, and development rather than force.
In short -- NOW
Ideally, chiropractic care during pregnancy is proactive, not reactive; meaning it's best not to wait for you to be in pain to receive care.
Preparing the body for birth through gentle prenatal chiropractic care helps support pelvic balance, nervous system regulation, and overall comfort throughout pregnancy. When the body is supported before labor, many families find birth is less stressful on both mom and baby.
Often, the need for infant chiropractic care arises not because something “went wrong,” but because a baby experienced stress during pregnancy or birth. Supporting the mother during pregnancy can help reduce tension patterns that babies may otherwise carry into their early days.
In short: preparing the body for birth helps support a smoother transition for your baby — and can reduce the need for reactive care later.
We are a cash-based chiropractic practice.

We do not accept insurance and we do not provide superbills for insurance reimbursement. However, we are happy to provide itemized receipts that include the amount paid, service codes, and our office information for FSA/HSA purposes.
Not accepting insurance allows us to collaborate with you in making healthcare decisions based on what you and your family actually need — not what an insurance company is willing to cover. This model allows for longer visits, individualized care, and a focus on quality rather than volume.
Most families find our fees are comparable to — or less than — specialist co-pays, without the limitations or red tape.
The frequency of chiropractic visits is highly individualized.
After your initial visit and assessment, Dr. Alex will make care recommendations based on:
Health history
Current concerns or goals
Lifestyle and stressors
Pregnancy stage or your child’s developmental needs
Some families come in for short-term support, while others choose ongoing wellness care for pregnancy, infants, and growing children.
